Hey y'all, since this is the first post of this site it only makes sense to give a little history of who we are because who doesn't like to know who they are dealing with. We are a newer Ranch that is constantly growing and changing. I have always wanted to have a property that could be supportive of my families needs and provide for as many people as it could. The Lord blessed me with a property that had a great water source and a whole bunch of timber. Most people would laugh and say that doesn't sound very good for a farm let alone a ranch. If that is what your thinking you are partly right. The property has undergone a ton of work from cleaning up garbage, remodeling the house, building structures and clearing portions of land. It has been some of the hardest and most rewarding work I have ever performed. If someone was to ask me why I would continue in something like this when most people run to the convenience of a store and look for an easier life. The truth is I love it and I believe it is what the Lord intended for us. Now have I had hard times absolutely but I quickly get reminded of the peace the property brings and how it is my home. In other posts I may share some funny stories and even some sad ones. These are shared to hopefully give lessons of how not to do things (some of them quite ridiculous) and others are just happen stance of life that are just pure comical. The biggest change by far is last year I married my beautiful wife and this is where this idea came from. She is a herbalist and has some incredible knowledge of how to help people with sickness, rashes, pain and so much more all with what God has put on our property or we can grow. As y'all can guess that is where the Norsemen's Wife's Apothecary came from. It helped me in many different areas where we only thought why can't this help others too. The Norsemen's Ranch is pretty simple, My lineage partly is from Denmark and Norsemen stands for men from the north. Funny thing though the weather I hate the most is the cold. I moved from Illinois to southern missouri to get away from the cold and there are some stories to come from that. The Norsemen Træværk simply means the northmens woodwork. Most of the projects you see have came from necessity, projects for others, or just an idea that randomly came to life.
Everything you see are things that happen on our property and are apart of our life and Ranch. We strive to honor the Lord and try to use what He has given us to help those that we can. We would love to offer some of our products and hope you visit our shop page. It has a collection of goods that we believe can help you either with your health journey or simply put a smile on your face. Lastly we do have a community page and if you are located in southern Missouri I would highly recommend checking them out. They are some of the best individuals we have found and they offer some of the best and most trustworthy services you can ask for!
